As of 2022, the Mexican state with the highest number of same-sex divorces was Mexico City, with 136 for men-men marriages and 193 for woman-woman. Followed by the state of Nuevo León and Jalisco. In total, 714 same-sex divorces were registered in Mexico in 2023.
