In Hungary, the government is seen as the biggest threat to media freedom in 2023. According to respondents, who evaluated the government on a scale from 1 to 5, the government was rated 3.7. Just shortly behind the government, media and other business interests were ranked 3.6 out of 5, while digital platforms ranked 3.1 on the scale.
