The age group which had the highest mortality rate from cancer in Russia was that of 80-to-84-year-olds, at around 902.6 deaths per 100 thousand population in 2021. On the other hand, children aged up to four years demonstrated the lowest rate. In total, approximately 279 thousand deaths from cancer were recorded in Russia in 2021.
