As of 2022, 19 percent of British workers reported that they had taken time off work due to their mental health, with 74 percent advising they had never taken time off for this reason. Approximately 88 percent of those aged over 65 said they had never taken time off work for mental health, compared with 65 percent of 18 to 24 year old's.
