During a 2022 survey, slightly more than two-thirds (or 68 percent) of responding small and medium-sized publishers from the United States stated that the impact of lack of targeted digital advertising would be somewhat or significantly negative. On the other hand, almost seven percent of respondents said that there would be no impact.
