According to a survey conducted in South Korea in May 2023, more than 83 percent of respondents who had previously re-subscribed to an over-the-top (OTT) video service after cancelation stated that their reason was new content becoming available on the platform. Another roughly 32 percent re-subscribed due to becoming eligible for a discounted subscription fee.
