As of December 2024, around three-quarters (or 75 percent) of public relations (PR) professionals surveyed worldwide reported using generative artificial intelligence (genAI) solutions such as ChatGPT and DALL-E at work. Slightly more than a year and a half earlier, that share stood at 28 percent. Meanwhile, the percentage of PRs saying they did not plan to explore those tools declined from 15 to six percent. According to the same study, genAI's leading use among PRs was brainstorming.
