According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in 2023, around 44.7 percent of female and 43.3 of male respondents stated that they did not want to see sponsored ads on social media platforms. Of those who were willing to view such ads, female respondents were most commonly interested in only seeing personalized, targeted ads, while male respondents were most interested in finding good offers or discounts.
