According to a survey on social media advertising conducted by Rakuten Insight in July 2023, approximately 41 percent of respondents in Singapore indicated that they rarely purchased items, only between one to three times in the past year, after viewing sponsored advertisements on social media platforms. Meanwhile, 19 percent of respondents preferred not to purchase any items after viewing an ad on social media.
