According to a 2023 survey of cybersecurity professionals, nearly 70 percent of respondents worldwide stated that increasing cybersecurity training and awareness for employees constituted the main step their organization should take to prepare for sophisticated or overwhelming artificial intelligence (AI) attacks. Developing incident response plans specifically tailored to AI attacks ranked second, according to 65 percent of respondents. Overall, half of respondents considered strengthening traditional security controls such as zero trust or multi-factor authentication as the most important step to prepare for AI attacks.
