More than 50 percent of oil and gas company executives in the United States expect to see an increase in global oil consumption between 2023 and 2050. This is according to a survey conducted in September 2023. Despite governments pledging to reduce reliance on fossil fuels over the coming decades, those within the oil and gas exploration industry nevertheless await a growing appetite for oil worldwide.
