Some 217 chargers were installed through the Electric Vehicle Chargepoint Grant in the United Kingdom in September 2024. This was the fourth-lowest volume on record since the scheme started in March 2022, when only one charging socket was installed.

The month refers to when the Electric Vehicle Chargepoint Grant (EVCG) charging device was installed, not when the grant was paid.Â
The source specifies that: "Grants can take several months to process and the most recent quarters are most likely to be undercounted. The grants can be broken down into these categories; residential car parks, staff and fleet car parks, uncategorised car parks, flats and renters, commercial landlords, residential landlords, and uncategorised landlords. The statistics should therefore be treated as provisional." and that "Historic EVCG data in July 2023, April 2024, and July 2024 included an overstated grant value by £62,000 for the landlord component of EVCG funding due to a processing error during production of tables with approximately 1% of EVCG funding affected. Data as of October 2024 has been revised to account for this, however previous data cannot be revised as data were based off snapshots in time. Please treat prior figures with caution."
