Car-sharing trips in Italian cities increased slightly between 2021 and 2022, having dropped substantially in all cities except Bologna at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. In Bologna, car-sharing trips had, however, been rising from a very low level of around 50,000 trips in 2018 to 247,000 trips in 2022.
