The National Iranian Oil Company was the company with the largest discovery volume of oil and gas reserves between 2022 and 2023. In these years, Iran's state-owned oil producer discovered nearly 3.7 billion barrels of oil equivalent reserves in addition to starting development of production projects linked to 1.48 billion barrels of oil equivalent in reserves.
