In the fourth quarter of 2023, the number of active SIM cards on 4G and 5G networks in France reached nearly 87 millions, the vast majority being active on 4G networks. Nevertheless, the number of active SIM cards has been growing rapidly in recent years, from half a million at the start of 2021 to 14 millions at the end of 2023.
