Arsenal FC ramped up transfer spending following the departure of Arsène Wenger in 2018, with the club nearing the amount the Frenchman spent in 22 seasons after just six. Net spend increased dramatically, amounting to 711 million euros in the post-Wenger era, compared to 291 million euros under Wenger.
