As of January 1st, 2024, Bavaria had the largest public electric vehicle charging network in Germany, at over 25,600 chargers. North Rhine-Westphalia and Baden-Württemberg were the second and third federal states with the largest charging infrastructure, and the only other states to have over 20,000 available charging points.
