As of July 1st, 2024, various governmental funding programs had contributed to the creation of nearly 190,500 charging points in Bavaria, with another planned 34,100 chargers receiving funding in the German state. North Rhine-Westphalia, the state with the second-largest public charging network in the country, was also the second state receiving the most overall funding.
