A survey conducted in the United States in 2024 found that the age group 35 to 39 has the strongest conviction that artificial intelligence (AI) is used by online retailers, at around 60 percent. Similarly, about 59 percent of those aged between 50 and 54 were of the same opinion. A smaller share of those aged 55 and older agree that AI is used by online retailers, ranging from 42 to 49 percent.
