In a survey about mental health in the workplace in Ireland, employers indicated their level of agreement with the following statement: “mental health is a personal issue and not one which should be addressed at work”. Overall, the majority of employers across all company types disagreed with the statement. In companies with more than 50 employees, the percentage was the greatest, with 63 percent of respondents who strongly disagreed and 18 percent of respondents who slightly disagreed.
