In the Nordic countries, a high share of the population counts as upper class or above, earning at least the equivalent of the highest 10 percent of global income earners as of 2022 in purchasing power parity (PPP) terms. The share was highest in Norway, and lowest in Finland. The countries are among the ones with the highest gross domestic product (GDP) per capita worldwide.
