In 2022, there were nearly 66 stroke deaths reported per 100,000 Black men in the South of the United States aged 45 to 64 years. This was the highest stroke death rate reported among men in all regions and among all races/ethnicities that year. Furthermore, the stroke death rate in every region was significantly higher among Black men compared to any other races/ethnicities.
