In the second quarter of 2024, global investments in video gaming startups totaled 579 million U.S. dollars, representing a 33 percent decrease from the previous quarter. Looking back at the gaming industry sector investments, 2021 was the standout year, with over 13.23 billion U.S. dollars raised by gaming startups worldwide.
