In 2021 and 2022, 36 percent of 13-year-old girls and 18 percent of boys in Poland reported feeling lonely most of the time or always. This was the highest share of 13-year-olds feeling lonely among the selected European countries, followed by England, with 34 percent of girls and 14 percent of boys feeling lonely.
