In 2023, over 494,000 tons of frozen meals sold in Germany, of which approximately 354,863 tons were sold via food retailers. The other 139,477 tons were sold via out-of-home markets.
The German Frozen Food Institute represents the interests of the German frozen food industry. As an organization, it represents companies from all parts of the frozen food chain, from production to logistics and retail.
