Sales of frozen potato products in Germany until 2023, by distribution channel
In 2023, around 483,813 tons of frozen potato products (including frozen french fries) were sold in Germany, of which 264,923 tons were sold via food retailers, while 218,889 were sold via out-of-home markets.
The German Frozen Food Institute represents the interests of the German frozen food industry. As an organization, it represents companies from all parts of the frozen food chain, from production to logistics and retail.
