In 2023, Germany and Italy were the leading countries in Europe for investments in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) funds. The share of respondents in these two countries having ESG funds in their portfolios stood at approximately 26 percent. Belgium ranked second, with 25 percent of survey respondents indicating they invested in ESG funds.
