In the United Kingdom, a significant portion of respondents considered protection by regulation as the top influencing factor when making investment decisions in 2023. The share of respondents who cited protection by regulation as the top factor stood at 52 percent. In Belgium, Spain, and Germany, the risk of losing all or most of their investment was the top influencing factor while making investments.
