In the financial year 2024, over 17.3 million domestic passengers travelled through Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata, India, an increase from the previous year. This follows a sharp decline in traffic in fiscal year 2021 due to the pandemic. While the airport has shown signs of recovery, passenger numbers remain below pre-pandemic levels. Meanwhile, Delhi Airport remained the busiest in the country, handling the highest number of domestic passengers during the same period.
