Around two-thirds of the respondents in the U.S. expressed their support for a transition of the economy from fossil fuels to 100 percent clean energy by 2050. On average, only 35 percent of Republican respondents agreed with this statement. On the contrary, more than 90 percent of Democrats supported the full green transition by mid-century.
