The election for the National Assembly of Azerbaijan was held on September 1, 2024. Asgarov Asif Yunis secured first place in the 112th Zagatala Electoral District, with 80 percent of the votes. He was followed by Huseynov Aydin Nasir and Huseynova Hicran Kamran with 78.1 and 76.8 percent, respectively.
