According to a survey by Rakuten Insight in July 2024, 56 percent of both female and male consumers in the Philippines said they prefer to purchase luxury clothing. In addition, female respondents in the country also prefer to buy luxury cosmetics and skincare, compared to just 17 percent of male respondents. Meanwhile, male Filipino respondents have a high preference towards luxury footwear and technology.
