According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight among luxury goods consumers in Singapore in July 2024, 48 percent of the respondents selected high quality as a main factor for purchasing luxury goods. In comparison, two percent of the consumers stated that celebrity endorsement of goods influences their purchasing behavior regarding luxury goods.
