According to a survey by Rakuten Insight in May 2024, 79 percent of respondents in Malaysia said they accessed live commerce or live shopping event through social media platforms to purchase an item. Meanwhile, 13 percent of Malaysian respondents reported purchasing through brand-specific websites.
