During 2023, 57 new generative AI (Gen AI) start-up companies were founded in Israel. Despite an overall slowing in the local venture capital market, the rate of Gel AI start-up founding during H1 2024, is keeping pace with 2023. Since 2015, the rate of Gen AI company formation has grown significantly. In a recent survey, 63 percent of tech leaders in the country pointed to artificial intelligence (AI) as the most important trend in 2024.
