In 2023, a significant portion of non-ESG investors in Europe agreed that personal ethics should be taken into consideration when making investment choices. The share of respondents who believed this was highest in Spain and the United Kingdom, at 51 percent and 42 percent, respectively. However, compared to the total sample, which included ESG fund investors, these numbers were much lower.
