This was the biggest increase in date palm cultivated land between 2018 and 2022, increasing by roughly 420 hectares over the previous year. The past three years have seen consecutive growth in the area of land cultivated with date palms. The total area of cultivated land in Qatar was roughly 52850 hectares during this year.
