It assessed the severity of risk based on a range of metrics, such as the local economy's dependence on tourism and the concentration of travelers at the destination. It then assigned a score from five to one to each destination, with one representing the highest level of risk. Based on the study, Dubrovnik recorded the highest risk level in four of the six metrics analyzed, including density in concentration and environmental impact.
