According to a survey conducted in February 2023 among consumers in the United States, more than one-third of respondents ignored or deleted brand e-mails about half of the times they received them. Around 15 percent of respondents reported they always ignored or deleted marketing e-mails from brands, while only five percent of the surveyed U.S. consumers reported they never ignored brand communications via e-mail.
