According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in July 2024 in China, 69 percent of female respondents expressed purchasing intention for cosmetics and skincare products. Both men and women showed strong demand for luxury clothing and footwear, with over 40 percent of respondents indicating a willingness to purchase in these categories.
