According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in July 2024, the most popular luxury items among Chinese consumers were cosmetics, with around 50 percent of respondents indicating a willingness to purchase. Perfumes, footwear, clothing, and jewelry and accessories also showed strong appeal to Chinese shoppers.
