During a survey among business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) chief marketing officers (CMOs) at financial services companies in the United States published in April 2024, around 40 percent said they would like their employers to invest more in digital communication channels. Advertising and media followed, mentioned by 22 percent, while data and advanced analytics rounded up the top three, cited by 19 percent of the respondents.
