As of June 2024, nearly three-quarters (or 74 percent) of business-to-business (B2B) chief marketing officers (CMOs) surveyed worldwide said they reported on return on investment (ROI) during board meetings. Approximately 59 percent addressed profit and loss during those events, while 48 percent reported on balance sheets. According to the same study, global B2B CMOs' top go-to-market (GTM) areas of responsibility included marketing communications and brand strategies.
