The younger generations are more optimistic about their financial future than the older generations. Whereas close to 80 percent of Gen Zs are positive about their financial future, less than half of the silent generation and baby boomers were the same.

Gen Z are people born between 1997 and 2012
Millennials are people born between 1981 and 1996.
Gen X are people born between 1965 and 1980.
Baby boomers are are people born between 1946 and 1964.
Silent Generation are people born between 1928 and 1945.
