This statistic displays the share of hospitals in Canada from 2013 to 2023, by employment size. In 2023, a third of Canadian hospitals were large in size with over 500 employees, another third were medium-sized. Meanwhile, the share of micro hospitals has decreased while larger hospitals have increased.
