Digital transaction disruption due to poor mobile network India 2024

In a survey on mobile internet quality and usage in India, over 40 percent of the respondents that used either 3G, 4G, or 5G mobile data connections were unable to smoothly conduct up to 10 percent of their digital payment transactions due to poor network in 2024. They had to use other means such as physical forms of payment or switch to a Wi-Fi/broadband connection. Meanwhile, another significant share of respondents were unable to recall having faced any such disruptions when carrying out mobile payment transactions.
