Using digital wallets for hospitality is more common in Germany than in Canada or other countries in Europe and North America. This is according to a study done in seven countries in both regions. Canada stood out in the survey, with only four percent of Canadian respondents reporting using a digital wallet for hospitality purposes in the past month. This figure was significantly below the averages for Europe and North America.
