According to forecast data from mid 2019, direct mail local advertising in the United States will account for 25.4 percent of the total local media revenue that year. The total revenue is projected to reach 145.8 billion U.S. dollars in 2019. Online advertising is believed to rank second at 14 percent share of the pie and mobile will be the third largest medium.
