Home construction starts in Quebec, a mostly French-speaking province in Canada, decreased slightly in 2022. That came shortly after housing starts reached a new peak in 2021, with roughly 67,810 units. Between 1995 and 2001, the number of home constructions started stayed relatively low, ranging from 21,800 units to 27,700 units. However, nowadays Quebec has one of the highest residential construction supplies Canada, with more housing starts than in British Columbia during the last years.
