Container ships: nominal TEU capacity 2012-2016
This statistic represents the TEU capacity of container ships worldwide in 2012 and 2013, and gives projections through 2016. At the end of 2015, the combined capacity of container ships with a nominal capacity of 500 to 999 TEUs is expected to be around 579,000 twenty-foot equivalent units.
